Supporters from all over the country have worked tirelessly to right the wrong which is James' conviction. A task force was formed to petition state and federal departments of corrections and to work with innocence project efforts.
The committee also raises funds for James' personal needs and to sponsor visits with him in prison. Gifts are collected for his birthday and for Christmas.
